Affirm Journal of Agriculture
The field of agriculture envisions food and agricultural systems. Agriculture is not limited to agricultural and food systems. Indeed, recent findings address the impact of agricultural and food-related institutions, policies, and practices on human populations, the environment, democratic governance, and social equity. The Affirm Journal of Agriculture is an international and interdisciplinary platform to disseminate recent research findings in the field of agriculture with a focus on human populations, and the environment. The editorial board of the Affirm Journal of Agriculture invites authors to submit original work based on empirical, qualitative, and quantitative research, theoretical discussion, policy analysis, or humanities-based inquiry. The Affirm Journal of Agriculture aims at encouraging the development of a science and technology of information processing in agriculture. The journal publishes papers that document, examine, and critically question the values and relationships that characterize both conventional and alternative approaches to the agri-food system – from production, processing, distribution, access, and use to waste management. The accredited editorial board of Affirm Journal of Agriculture will have a close look at every single manuscript sent to the journal and are sensitive to issues such as ghostwriting, unethical research practices, and inscrutable research reports. Affirm Journal of Agriculture abides Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing suggested by The Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA), and Scopus.
